ACC Net up By 85% at INR 471cr for June Quarter

ACC Cement, one of India’s major cement players, saw an increase in its net profit by 84.64%, amounting to INR 470.98cr for this June quarter of FY09. The net profit in last June was INR 255.07cr.
The revenue of ACC amounted to INR 2081.25cr, an increase of 15.11% as against INR 1807.94cr last June. The consolidated net sales for June quarter of FY09 was INR 2188.21cr as against INR 1906.23cr last year, up 14.79%. however, the Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) segment of the company saw its revenue slide down by 2.25%, amounting to INR 126.89cr, as against 129.81cr last June.
