Ambuja Cement Q2 Net Down By 44% at INR 325cr

The 2nd quarter results of Ambuja cements reported 44% decline in net profit. The net profit, as of June 30 2009 for the second quarter was INR 577.02cr, which was INR 324.65cr less than the net profit in June quarter last year. However, the total income has increased y 20% to INR 1888.47cr this June, as against INR 1574.97cr last June. The company has made a profit worth INR 303cr on sale of stake in Ambuja Cement India to Holderind Investments in this June quarter.
